Ways to construct Your Brand Equity
Posted by peterzmijewski | Filed under Internet Marketing
Building your brand equity online takes time, devotion and patience. Brand equity is not something that immediately happens. It takes a cognizant effort on your part to make sure your brand equity becomes a valuable asset.
Ways to help to build your brand equity -
Investment in content marketing:
Content marketing is how you point yourself as the solution. By producing quality content (which could be anything as well as videos, blog, whitepapers, and more) you are establishing yourself as an industry expert. The added trusted you are (by search engines and consumers) the better your brand equity.
Develop relationships with industry bloggers:
Perceptibly a great piece of content is going to do much good if you can’t get any eyeballs on it. There is where influential bloggers can offer a huge boon to your content marketing campaign. An admired industry blog may get thousands of unique visitors a day and posts can get shared across a variety of social networking sites hundreds of times.
Make an online community:
There is no added denying that social and SEO are crossing paths and influencing each other. The big three social networks are Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, but there are abundance of smaller and niche social networking sites where you can develop an online community. Your connections pass your content all along to their connections and further on, spreading your brand name and content as it goes.

Image Traffic: A new way to bring traffic to your homepage
Posted by peterzmijewski | Filed under Internet Marketing
What exactly you expect your website should do. It should produce business, promote products & brands. Question arise how this will happen? This will happen with traffic coming to your webpage. Again a question arises, how traffic will come to your webpage? Traffic will come to webpage search engine optimization techniques. A brand promoter had asked a question to an SEO expert that he is using several SEO techniques since last couple of years, but still he lack in something, and that something is diverting traffic to the website via Image Traffic. Question arise how image traffic will help in optimization. Answer to this can be explain with a scenario: Let’s say someone is going on a trip to Germany. They might do image searches for things to do or see in Germany and for famous German landmarks like the famous Berlin Wall, the Colonge Cathedral, or Bethhoven House. Thanks to Google’s universal search results, images provide a way to get onto the first page (or, in some cases, the top result) and get a click through, an ad view, or adsense impression. It might even lead to traffic generation completion. Maybe you run a fish store. If a professor in university or government agency needs a picture of a fish and your image result appears, and you allow your images to be reused in exchange for a link, this can be huge way to passively build links slowly over time (true story! It happened for a client I used to have). Some of the results of using Image Traffic is released by Google.
Another Big Question that arises of correct usage of Image Traffic Technique.
• Name Convention is the important aspect of Image Traffic. Try to use keywords if possible as image name or in image name, using the hyphen as a delimiter.
• Sometime shorter names win the race rather than longer ones. Avoid using more than 4 words if possible.
• If possible use headings or bold tags above or directly next to the image.
• Keep the images a reasonable size. They should be large enough for people to see but small enough to fit on a screen.
• If you own the image, encourage people to reuse your image in exchange for a link.

Find New Twitter Account To Follow
Posted by peterzmijewski | Filed under Internet Marketing
Twitter, a new search function today, aimed at making it easy for users to search new items of interest.
Co-founder Jack Dorsey, who recently returned to the daily operations at Twitter has made it clear that people come to understand what to use Twitter is a priority. This seems to fit in this program. People are really more likely to continue to use Twitter, at least as information tool, if someone wants to know who is the tweeter.
Users can now search for items and locate relevant to the items, whereas before such a search would have returned items that have a specific term in their name or nickname. The function can be used by clicking on the “people” part of the results page or by searching the “Who will follow” page.
“This new approach helps you find Twitter users that let you follow your best interests,” said Twitter’s Carolyn Penner. “For example, if you are interested in hip hop, chances are that you want to follow the hip-hop. Search for” hip hop “is now facing accounts @ common, @ quest love. (We have already typically accounts show that “hip hop” in the name.) ”
“Whether you are a cupcake baker, a skilled person looking for new DIY projects or someone who likes to keep an eye out for a great travel deal, you’ll be able to quickly find and communicate with useful accounts,” says Penner. “You can search for general themes, such as pleasure or sports, or be more specific – try Manchester United, Nascar or Formula One.”
Although the functionality will certainly help users locate accounts to follow, it should also help accounts be found, which is good for business in itself. Follower counts should be increasing.
If you do not mind the shameless plug, you might consider monitoring their Twellow well. The service is easy to find all types of interesting Twitter users can follow on the basis of class or location (try TwellowHood functionality).

Google for Nonprofits Program Launches
Posted by peterzmijewski | Filed under Internet Marketing
Nonprofit organizations that are open to the idea of adopting new software and IT solutions may want to get in touch with Google. This afternoon, the search giant announced a program called Google for Nonprofits, and it’s designed to help charitable groups save money and reach more people.
For the cynics out there: yes, this also happens to serve as a push to increase usage of Google’s products and services. The company isn’t just offering to lend nonprofits its accountants and buy everyone a few billboards.
Still, a post on the Google Nonprofits Blog explained, “If you work for a nonprofit, this program provides you with several new benefits. If approved, you can access our suite of product offerings designed for nonprofits: up to $10,000 a month in advertising on Google Ad Words to reach more donors, free or discounted Google Apps to cut IT costs and operate more efficiently, and premium features for YouTube and our mapping technologies to raise awareness of your cause.”
Then the post noted a couple more perks, continuing, “We’ve also developed other online resources such as educational videos, case studies and better ways for you to connect with other nonprofits.”
Organizations seem to be responding well so far, as the video below shows. And of course, as a worst case scenario, Google for Nonprofits is just something an organization can ignore.
